Dheeraj Pateriya was born in India, in 1987.
In 2008, he graduated of MASTER Degree in Religious and Sanskrit Language (Chitrakoote - India).
From 2007 to 2011, he worked in an NGO and started travelling around India, Nepal and Bangladesh. By the same time, he began his practice of photography and film.
In his work, he has been capturing many moments of beauty in all around those places : mountains of Nepal and Darjeling, forests and village life in Bangladesh, religious ceremonies in Chitrakoote and Varansi, monuments and Betwa river of his home town Orchha, statues of the Kamasutra in Khajuraho, animals from Bandhavgarh and Panna reserves...
In 2011, he decided to move to the city of art and love : Paris.
